Here I Go Again

The title's a bit of a paradox isn't it??

Aaah yes, VH1 Classic music video shows. Rock Fest, Metal Mania, Totally 80's. They all have one thing in common: they insist on playing music videos that turn me on.


Creepy comments aside, I thank them especially for this, Here I Go Again by Whitesnake.

Given, it kinda bugs me that this is the only Whitesnake song anyone seems to even know, because they had soooo many other really good songs. It's weird too, they had a bunch of hits off of the Whitesnake album and this is the one that stuck. Maybe it's because it's what David considers the opitime of their band. For anyone reading, check out old Whitesnake, like David Coverdale-Northwinds or Love Hunter-- seriously you'd be amazed at how the blues influence shines through.

As for turning me on, there are some basic elements that undeniably get me that way:

1. David Coverdale- He is one beautiful, maned, power house of a man, with perfect lips. I will always be amazed by the perfection of his huge 80's hair, it is insanely sexy. His voice, oh dear GOD it is... let's say ground shaking? His low notes make your (well MINE anyway) knees shake, and his high notes make me wanna squeal. In fact, I do a lot of the time ^.^;; The microphone stand goes home happy every day "for suuuuure!" =D

2. Adrian Vandenberg- The oh so hot, oh so shredding, guitar molesting blonde [Viking]. Not to mention, ridiculously tall, and Dutch. I honestly would love to be his guitar. You simply must pay attention to his moves with the guitar. If I ever get the chance to put out an album, in the "thank you's" I vow that it will look something like this:

"... and second, I thank Adrian Vandenberg who taught me to molest my guitar like a pro..."

3. That satiny blue suit- It's impossible to describe the sexiness that radiates from that piece of clothing. It's best moment is when David get pulled into the backseat of his Jaguar by Tawney. I can't begin to explain how it fits... mostly due to graphic content XD. I'm tryin' to keep this clean people!

4. The "Consecutive Licking" progression- Probably my favorite part of the video, where good ol' Rudy Sarzo, in his own guitar molesting ways licks that cherry red bass, and in the very next scene you get Tawney's beautiful long legs being licked by David. Oh the wonders of their tongues *heart*


So there you have it kids. The wonders of just one of the 80's videos, hope you could get through this without having to go find your lover.
